Welcome to our research group in the School of Mathematics at the Georgia Institute of Technology. We study diverse topics in computational and theoretical neuroscience in close collaboration with experimental groups, by combining theories and data-driven models. Our goal is to understand how efficient and adaptable neural coding emerges from complex connectivity structure and rich neural dynamics in both biological and artificial neural networks at multiple scales.

Diversity Statement
We believe that science advances and flourishes from open and inclusive culture. As a research group, we strongly support diversity, equity, and inclusion, with respect to race, ethnicity, nationality, gender, gender identity, disability status, religion, and socioeconomic background. We commit to building a healthy scientific community where scientists of any backgrounds feel welcome and respected.
Land Acknowledgment
We acknowledge the Muscogee Creek and Cherokee peoples, on whose ancestral lands we live, learn, and work.
